Who We Are

This website was created by the Arbor AI Study Group, founded in June 2025 by the families of P.S. 414 Brooklyn Arbor. Our group now includes families from across NYC’s District 14 (Williamsburg, Greenpoint, parts of Bushwick and Bed Stuy).

Our members include IT administrators, UX designers, and software engineers but also filmmakers, psychology professors, architects, NGO consultants, neuroscientists, designers, archivists, retail associates, speech pathologists, creative directors, sales analysts, journalists, photographers, book editors, and full-time parents. We love our children, and we’re deeply grateful for everyone who keeps their schools running, including the principals, the administrative staff, the custodial workers, the nurses, the librarians, and (most of all) the teachers.

D14 Families for Human Learning is part of a citywide coalition calling for a two-year moratorium on AI in NYC public schools.
